Get Outside the Classroom is a team of passionate outdoor enthusiasts who want to share our love for nature with the world through the Duke of Edinburgh Award. We believe that spending time outside is essential for physical and mental health, and we want to help people connect with the natural world.

As an Approved Activity Provider with the Duke of Edinburgh, we work closely with schools to support their staff and students through the Award. This often includes an in-school Training Day and both a Training and Qualifying Expedition.

We believe the outdoors is one of the most powerful environments for learning and personal growth. By taking young people beyond the classroom, we create opportunities for challenge, confidence-building, teamwork, and adventure. Our goal is to give every participant an experience that inspires them and helps them thrive.
If you’re interested in getting outside the classroom and are looking for an expedition provider that is big enough to cope with anything that is thrown our way, but small enough to care, please get in touch!
We are always happy to discuss the needs of schools, no matter how far away from us or the individual needs.
